¿QUIÉNES SOMOS?
El Sindicato de Apoyo Mutuo (SiAM) es una organización sindical de reciente creación. Inicialmente, está formado por
antiguos afiliados y delegados del Sindicato de Enseñanza de la CGT, tanto de la sección de la UMA, como de la sección de
docentes no universitarios, aunque a fecha de hoy, a pesar de las pocas semanas de existencia ya cuenta con afiliados y
secciones de otros sectores (telemarketing, banca, etc.).
¿DE DÓNDE VENIMOS?
La creación de este sindicato se gestó a raíz de una crisis que se produjo en el seno de CGT-Andalucía. La inmensa mayoría
de los afiliados al Sindicato de Enseñanza de Málaga estábamos muy en contra de la deriva que estaba llevando la
organización, contraria de la que se puede suponer a un sindicato de base, asambleario, no autoritario y no profesionalizado.
Ante esta situación, el sindicato celebró una asamblea el 8 de octubre del año pasado para que la afiliación tomara una
decisión sobre nuestro futuro en CGT. Fue una de las asambleas con mayor participación de las celebradas en los últimos
años, y en ella se decidió -por una amplísima mayoría-, desfederar el sindicato de la estructura de CGT; en una primera etapa
continuando como sindicato de enseñanza y, en un segundo paso, como sindicato abierto a otros sectores de la producción.
Desde entonces, hemos trabajado en esta línea, continuando como Sindicato de Enseñanza de Málaga -eliminando las siglas
de CGT-. Pese a ello, la estructura de CGT se ha dedicado a dificultarnos el camino e incluso a usurpar nuestra identidad, lo
que ha retrasado la oficialización de nuestra denominación y nuestra situación como sindicato independiente.
De forma paralela -debido precisamente a las mencionadas trabas-, decidimos la creación del Sindicato de Apoyo Mutuo,
una organización no corporativa, abierta a todos los sectores y que trata de recuperar los principios horizontalidad,
asamblearismo y libertad que, a nuestro juicio, se han perdido en el sindicato de origen.
¿ADÓNDE VAMOS?
En esta nueva apuesta estamos todos los compañeros que resultamos elegidos delegados en las elecciones de PAS y PDI
funcionario y laboral de la UMA, y los 4 delegados del sector de la enseñanza no universitaria, así como la inmensa mayoría
de los afiliados. El nombre elegido, Sindicato de Apoyo Mutuo, hace referencia a lo que fue la esencia del sindicalismo en
sus orígenes (las redes de ayuda entre iguales para tomar fuerza y poder responder coordinadamente a los empleadores).
Buscar nuestra fuerza en nuestra unión. Y aprovechando este momento de gestación, hemos decidido poner en práctica
algunos acuerdos de carácter ético y procedimental, que se suelen adoptar en otras organizaciones, pero que raras veces se
suelen cumplir. Por ejemplo:
1. El sindicato nace con una apuesta clara por la banca ética y todas nuestras finanzas las tendremos en Fiare, banca ética y
colaborativa.
2. SiAM establece limitaciones claras de tiempo en puestos de coordinación del sindicato y también establece tiempos
máximos de liberación para evitar que haya personas que traten de vivir del sindicato sin acudir a su puesto de trabajo.
3. Los Estatutos de SiAM establecen procedimientos revocatorios claros y sencillos para todos los integrantes de los órganos
de gestión y/o dirección.
4. SiAM apuesta por la difusión libre del conocimiento y, por tanto, utilizará y recomendará a sus afiliados y afiliadas utilizar
software libre de código abierto y promocionará la difusión de contenidos bajo licencia Creative Commons en su modalidad

En resumen, un nuevo sindicato que trata de recuperar las esencias de los orígenes del sindicalismo mediante el Apoyo
Mutuo y ponerlo al día de los nuevos tiempos en los que la transparencia, la difusión libre del conocimiento y los nuevos
modelos de organizar la sociedad y nuestras finanzas son un valor en la lucha por un mundo más justo.
